Daniel 3:17-18
“‘If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.’”
Later, after God delivered them, King Nebuchadnezzar said, “‘Therefore I make a decree: Any people, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.’”(v.29).
Are you in a desperate situation that you can’t get yourself out of? God is able to deliver you if you will put him first in your life!
If you are in that situation because of ungodly choices you have made, God may allow you to experience consequences of your choices. But if you put God first in your life, you will come out of the darkness and into the light of God. God will walk with you and guide your life into a place of blessing.
It has been my experience that God always steps into a situation when I completely turn the situation and myself over to him. There is great comfort in turning that tough situation over to God. Jesus says, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Put him first in your life, give that situation to him and let him worry about it. You no longer have to!
