Have you ever noticed that the first thing that God did when our sin was paid for was to rip the veil in the temple—the veil that separated people from the holy presence of God? This is significant because it reveals God’s determination to make a way for us to come into his presence so that we could have a relationship with him.
Jesus is a perfect example of how to seek God’s presence and how to have a relationship with God. In his Father’s presence, Jesus found boldness, found revelation, found answers, found comfort, found love, found fullness, found joy and so much more.
You need God’s presence in your life.
In his presence, you will find a sense of identity, a sense of purpose, an unshakable confidence. In his presence, you realise that if God is for you, nothing can stand against you. In his presence, you get the boldness you need to speak to people about Christ. In his presence, you find new dreams you find healing. In his presence, he places vision and calling on your life. In his presence, you get answers to your questions. In his presence the raging storms inside you are calmed and you find peace.
MAKE IT PERSONAL:
Take whatever is going on in your life and bring it to God. Ask him to give you peace that transcends all understanding.
