Titus 2:7-8
“Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.”
Live in a way that “adorns the doctrine of God our Savior” in every respect!
As you go about your day, people are watching you. At work when you get given a task to do that everyone else avoids, people are watching you as you carry out that task. As your wife snaps at you or your husband grumbles towards you, your children are watching how you respond. As that car in front of you swerves into your lane your passengers and the people about see how you react. At that party, people are watching how you behave and are listening to your conversation.
Remember that how you live out your life today shows people who Jesus is. People are watching you to see what difference Jesus makes in your life, your decisions, how you speak and what you talk about.
God wants you to realise today that your daily activity and interactions can be a megaphone that declares his grace to those around you by living in a way that “adorns the doctrine of God our Savior” in every respect.
