Change your sense of inadequacy about sharing Christ with people to a sense of dependence on God as you share Christ with people!
As you think about the people in your life who don’t know Jesus, you don’t see how you could ever persuade them that he is the way, the truth and the life. You don’t see how you could connect with them at the heart level and make them long for a relationship with God. They don’t seem interested. How could you change that?
In a sense, your feelings of inadequacy are perceptive. It’s true that you can’t do any of those things. The problem is that you are not factoring God into the process! Rather than thinking about what you can (or can’t) do focus on what God can do…through you.
This is why prayer is so important to your personal ministry with people. It’s not what you do, but what God does through you that changes lives. Why do you think Jesus, living as a man, took so much time for prayer?

Are you disappointed that some of the people you have witnessed to haven’t yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour? Continue to pray for them and choose to believe that God is using the seed that you have planted and he will make it grow at the right time.
